Life changes

My previous blog post is officially the most commented blogpost ever with 20 readers commenting on my monthly results. That is just awesome, so a big thanks to all of you!

Unfortunately it has been a bit quiet on the blog with regards to new posts in October. This (ofcourse) has a reason and that reason is that I became a dad for the second (and final) time! Not the best financial investment one can make but I’m pretty sure I will have a nice ROI over the coming years in non-financial terms. 🙂

So its all about diapers and sleep deprivation for me at the moment here but thankfully Mrs. Robot, Lil’Bot and BabyBot are doing just fine.

  1. That is fantastic news, and congratulations to the entire Bot family! Wishing you all the best with the new addition to your family, and hopefully mom and dad are able to get some sleep here and there!

    1. Thank you very much DivvyDad! Not much on the sleep department at the moment but it will probably get better when we get to know our new baby girl better.

  2. Wow congrats! You sneeky mans, never could have guessed 😀 2 week dad my self, firs child however but I guess the fealing is similar 🙂 Childrend are the best investment there is – it makes you imortal. 1/2 of you continue to live in them after your gone. Calm nights to you my man. We found a way to sleep enough, all you have to do is go to bed at 20:00 and wake up at 10:00 😀

    1. Thanks P2035. I sometimes walk a fine line as to what I post on the blog about my personal life. But the longer I blog and get to know all you awesome people in this community, the more open I become.

Also a big congratulations to you my friend. Being a dad is one of the best things in the world. Thanks for your tip btw, going to bed early isn’t the problem it’s the walking up at 10:00 that’s the problem. Lil’Bot usually sleeps until 07:00 and then she goes from 0 to 100 miles in 2 minutes.

  3. Congrats and glad to hear the bot family is doing fine. I hope little bot doesn’t feel neglected with the new addition. Cause you know, even robots have feelings. Do you have a Bowser bot too (that’s a dog)? Tom

    1. Thanks Tom. You point out my 1 major concern with a second child, namely the attention to Lil’Bot. Thankfully she is just amazing as a big sister. I’m fully focused on giving her the right amount attention she needs.

There is no dog bot, there is however a ferocious red cat bot.

  4. Terrific news! Congrats on child #2, Mr. Robot. Glad to hear everyone is doing well.
Does this mean Robots are taking over the world? 🙂 Maybe not if this is the final bot.
