Let me start this post by saying that I’m really excited about the results of last month! As the title indicates this is an absolute record month for me and really boosted my confidence in staying on the DGI path that I am on together with my family.
As September came to a close the Summer season is definitely over and we are getting more and more rain & cold. Autumn is shaping up and with the exclusion of some sunny days its not my favourite time of the year.
Restrictions are slowly being lifted across the country and I have been returning to the office more and more. My regular schedule is now two days at the office (Monday and Friday) and three days at home. I also notice that with more frequent contac with other people my spirits also have been lifted. I really am a social / people person at heart 🙂
Enough of the small talk, that’s (probably) not what you came here to see. Onwards to the dividend results!
23 companies (!) deposited their dividends into my brokerage account, ready to be reinvested (manually) in other or the same dividend stocks. New payer this month is ASR and keen observers will see that I increased my positions in Unilever and Ahold significantly. Together with biannual payers like RELX and WKL this months packs a wickedly awesome punch! This month represents my absolute record dividend amount ever AND the first time I’ve crossed the €300 mark!
Here are the visuals:
And working towards my 2021 goal of €1750 in dividends received:
And (inspired by Engineering Dividends) a new graph with my annual dividend totals:
How amazing are these results! I actually can’t believe it! We’re done with month #9 and we still have three months to go!
A whopping increase of 94,71%% compared to last year!
The progress is definitely real going through my fifth year as a dividend growth investor starting back in March of 2017 (with a monthly total of €1,98).
As always my results are converted from their base currency to euro and are post-tax.
I would love to hear your thoughts on the awesome results of this month and ofcourse on your own results. Please let me know in the comments!
