Dividend Received

June 2021 Dividend Report

Ah yes, July is upon us which means its not only vacation time but also time to push out my results for June 2021 before the holiday starts. I don’t know about you but I really had a great feeling about this month. I knew that I had the upcoming bi-annual payment of a my relatively new position in RELX but as you know I’ve been boosting my other European (Unilever, Ahold) positions as well and Unilever was also due for June.

Well, I wasn’t dissapointed! I’m really, really glad to report that I had my best dividend month ever! Let me show you the results:

TickerAmount (€)
Holy smokes Batman!

No less then 20 companies deposited their dividends on my brokerage account, ready to be reinvested (manually) in other or the same dividend stocks. Astute readers will see not one, but two new payers in the list. This is the first dividend received from RelX and from Pfizer spin-off Viatris. Nice!

Here are the visuals:

Go blue!

And working towards my 2021 goal of €1750 in dividends received:

This puts me right back on track!

And (inspired by Engineering Dividends) a new graph with my annual dividend totals:

Already heading towards 2019 total at the 2021 half-year mark!

That’s right, a RECORD-BREAKING month and only €0,96 shy of breaking the €200 mark (without any special dividends either)! How amazing is that in my fifth year as a DGI investor I’m already so close to breaking €200 in a single month! We’re done with month #6 and as you can see I’m back on track with my yearly goal for received dividend as well.

June 2020€153,26
June 2021: €199,04

An awesome increase of 29,87% (actually around my yearly average so far) compared to last year, mainly due to the two new payers (RelX and Viatris) and the expansion of my Unilever position.

The progress is still very real even though this is already my fifth year as a dividend growth investor since starting back in March of 2017 (with a monthly total of €1,98).

As always my results are converted from their base currency to euro and are post-tax.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the awesome results of this month and ofcourse on your own results. Please let me know in the comments!

  1. Indrukwekkend hoor.

    1. The mentioned companies have been kind to me. Interesting choice, I might look into that company as well for my non US exposure. I love your analysis DKK!

  2. Well done, Mr. Robot! Congrats on the blowout total. I love seeing new records.
So close to €200 is right…. since you didn’t hit that mark in June, it will have to be September then.
Awesome YoY growth near 30%, too… good news all around.
I’d say you are quickly building out that Unilever position, as it delivered 2x any other dividend this month. I don’t recall it being such a standout before. In any case, that’s a terrific company to be leading your list of payers.

    1. You are right ED. Some monthly buys have been solely Unilever so the growth there is pretty massive. All in favor of building out my non US stocks.

I’m not sure if I’ll make €200 this year, it all depends on some timing. Relx for example is not coming back next quarter. We will see, I’m definitely heading towards it!
